Equinix successfully completes acquisition of Switch and Data

The global data center service Equinix has completed acquisition of Switch and Data Facility Company. The transaction was valued at USD 683.4 Million which comprised of approximately USD 134 Million to be paid in cash. Additionally, acquirer will issue 5.5 Million shares of Equinix common stock valued at USD 549.4 Million based on the closing price of Equinix common stock as of April 30, 2010.

Jack Henry is to acquire iPay Technologies for expanding its presence in the U.S. payment industry
