Citigroup Inc. has unveiled a 'business testing and parameter centre' in Poland. This comes almost two months after the Citi Centre of Excellence’s (CoE) Operations Centre was established in Lodz to handle loan products, telephone customer service and provide technology services for the bank. The new apps testing centre is part of the CoE. It will create about 80 new jobs and deliver services to 10 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Marc Luet, Chief Executive Officer of the Citi EMEA Consumer business, says that they are pleased to position the centre in Poland given the local talent, Citi's existing IT centres in Lodz, Olsztyn and Warsaw as well as Citi Handlowy's rich history in the country.
