Joseph Rossi is a founding member of TurtleBay Advisory Services (TBAS). Prior to forming the TurtleBay organization, Joe served as Freddie Mac's senior vice president of Operations and Technology and senior vice president of Investments and Capital Markets Operations and led Freddie Mac’s securities issuance, bond administration, and securities processing operations. Joe also served as senior vice president, Technology Services. In this role, he managed all aspects of technology infrastructure, including computer and network operations, customer technology services, data management infrastructure, operations technology services, information security, and technology change management. Before joining Freddie Mac, Joe held leadership positions at Mellon Bank, JP Morgan Chase, and Citibank, where he developed a significant portfolio of experience in all aspects of global securities clearance, custody, fund administration, and accounting. Joe received a BS degree from Bryant College and a MBA from Iona College.

Diane Rossi is currently serves as Managing Partner and CFO for TurtleBay Advisory Services. Throughout her career she has worked both within the public and private sectors. She has held significant administrative and operating roles within General Dynamics Corporation and Citicorp. In addition, for a large part of her career she worked within Public Education both at the primary and secondary levels. In her current role she is also overseeing the FSOKx training and education program. Diane holds degrees from both Bryant University located in Smithfield, Rhode Island, and St. Thomas Aquinas College located in Sparkill, New York.

Andrea Billitteri is the Director of FSO Knowledge Xchange. She has a strong background with large financial service organizations including supervisory roles at Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley in the areas of accounting and revenue reporting. Andrea’s knowledge of Financial Services, coupled with her excellent communication skills has made her a leader in B2B Sales and Marketing in working with customers and driving sales revenue. Her specialty is consulting clients on comprehensive marketing strategies within the financial services sector which includes print advertising, online advertising, education & events, web seminars and other lead generating products.

Lisa Valentine is Managing Editor of FSO Magazine. She has been covering the financial services industry for 15 years, writing for a variety of trade publications and corporate clients in the banking, insurance and capital markets areas. Before launching her writing career, Lisa was an IT business analyst for AT&T and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Lisa holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia and is a member of the American Society of Business Publications Editors.

Renee Wijnen is a Contributing Editor of FSO magazine. She has spent ten years in journalism, most recently as editor of Waters, a monthly magazine about trading technology aimed at Wall Street CIOs. Previously, she was editor-in-chief of Euromoney/Institutional Investor's Financial Technology magazine and served as senior editor for Thomson Financial's Bank Technology News.

She has also covered teleservices technology, the corporate bond market and general assignment city and court beats for other publications..

Bob Baum is a Senior Advisor at Turtlebay Advisory Services. Mr. Baum has over twenty years of experience in IT and Cyber Security. His work experience includes five plus years at Merck where in a sales role, he devised a way to automatically feed and bleed chemical compounds in both process and discrete manufacturing applications. He was also involved in compliance work, which required strict adherence to MSDS guidelines mandated by Merck.

Mr. Baum also worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Now Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield) where he was responsible for the sales and marketing of electronic claims processing systems for commercial Health insurance carriers such as Prudential and Aetna as well as electronic claims for Medicare and Medicaid. He and his team were also responsible for the first electronic reconciliation package for use with Medicare and Medicaid. Bob has also worked with IT Service Management based on the ITIL framework, and ITAM/SAM or IT Asset Management/Software Asset Management, helping organizations save millions of dollars in the process.

Mr. Baum began his career at the W.A. Baum Co. Inc. His grandfather William A. Baum was responsible for inventing the modern blood pressure instrument, which ultimately became the worldwide standard by which all blood pressure apparatus is measured and calibrated against. He was also instrumental in the development of many other instruments such as Centrifuges, Microhematocrit and the first practical, commercial uses of Teflon and Velcro.

Ignacio Garijo Garde is a Senior Sales Advisor at TBAS with a successful career improving operating performance for leading financial institutions.

Most recently, as EVO-Chief Information Officer, Risk Management for Santander Holdings USA, Ignacio led all risk related projects including the US launch and management of the BCBS 239, Enterprise Risk, and Risk Identification and Assessment Programs. He managed a $ 140 million budget, and had overall responsibility for credit and data management, operational risk, model development, model risk management, and project control.

Previously as USA Chief Audit Executive, Managing Director for Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), Ignacio led due diligence procedures in the creation of BBVA Compass, the twenty-fifth largest bank valued in assets in the US. He then directed the seamless post-acquisition integration of five different audit teams into one organization. In addition, he reduced regulatory risk, and achieved substantial improvements in the bank’s regulatory rating.

Prior to that, as COO, BBVA NY and BBVA Securities, Ignacio merged the branches of BBV and Argenteria in New York, creating the business infrastructure for the development of the Global Markets Division of BBVA Group which doubled the amount of assets.

M. A. Maxwell (Max) is a Senior Advisor at TBAS who has thirty plus years’ experience in supporting distributed systems architecture across multiple industries including research, engineering and the global financial markets. He has developed expertise is in UNIX and Windows operating systems, network & trading floor systems design as well as program & project management, software development lifecycle & role based workflow.

In addition to systems, operations & program management knowledge Mark Maxwell has developed strong expertise in managing teams and leading people with over a decade and a half experience as a leader. He has ITIL certifications and has lead successful implementations of both ITIL best practices & Lean principles in combination. Mark is also a writer and coauthor of technology related non-fiction, educational & training materials.
